Throughout his career, José fought a tireless battle against cancer. A transformational leader, and a scientific founder of Tango, José was uniquely insightful and passionate, inspiring those around him to constantly push for better treatments for people with cancer. His life’s work, memorialized in the documentary José Baselga: Cancer's Fiercest Opponent (premiering March 2022) lives on at Tango and we are proud to be part of his legacy.

Dimitris was an integral part of Tango from the beginning. He joined as employee number 17 and his work, energy, and dedication left an indelible mark on us. His diagnosis of advanced pancreatic cancer in 2020 only inspired him to work harder to move our programs toward the clinic and in turn, he inspired us to “Do it for Dimitris.” We will think of him with every patient we treat, and hope that one day, we can make a difference to the pancreatic cancer community in his honor.
